Lilith saw the syllabus, with the names of her partners which were Ayame, Alison, and Aiden.
She noticed that Aiden was surprised to see the girl named Ayame, who gave him a small smile. Lilith could tell that she wasn't too happy about working in the group. She couldn't blame her at all. She, too, usually did all the work in the previous school that she was attending.
She heard what she told this girl named Alison. She observed that Alison didn't really want to say anything, but she supposed that Alison thought in humor with an answer.
Then Alison gave her a paper saying that she was a siren of truth. Not that Lilith already know. She did. She also could tell that she was hiding something, but she felt that it wasn't her business to pry into her mind.
Then she heard Melody asked Ayame if you could join the group.
Alison got out of her seat and pulled over an empty desk and put it with the group. She left again only long enough to get the rarely used chair from the corner of the class setting next to the first desk. She situated it again to make sure that Melody would be fully concluded along with her panda.
“The ruins of Pompeii were initially rediscovered in 1599 when workers were digging a channel to divert the river Sarno exposing the paintings in inscriptions. Domenico Fontana was summoned to the find and after some time chose to cover them again and chose to hide the discovery again for reasons that we can only speculate.” Alison stated as fact. “It was not until 1738 that workmen would once again discover the city. This time instead of a channel they were excavating the area to build a summer palace for the King of Naples, Charles of Bourbon.”
She sat down and re-evaluated the syllabus for five people, saying nothing more at the moment.
Marina sat down sitting her panda in her lap, if no one wanted her in the group she would just do the project all by her self. She hope that Kross would be happy that she was at lest trying to get along with people even if she was a little scared.
She looked at the people in the group wondered if they really wanted her there or not she hugged her panda a little and waited for Ayame to answer her still.

Aiden was actually very pleased with the group. There was Ayame, the one he met in the cafe and surprisingly the girl that went jogging yesterday. He didn't get her name until she handed out a piece of paper. He thought it was rather odd that she would even carry that around.
When he was engrossed in reading all these paper, he heard some squabbling, and minor talk. The last girl in the group though was rather quiet... like she didn't even want to be there. It seemed that she was new too. He caught the tail end of a comment from Ayame about her doing all the work and just assumed that it would be like that and before he had the chance to retort anything, a little girl was asking to be in the group. His head was already spinning. Maybe he could get the group under control and get something going here. It would be a risky chance at everyone hating him, but what did he really have to lose?
"Wait... everyone just hold up. There is just way too much going on right now. First of all, Melody was it? I think it would be fine for you to be in the group. Mr. Montgomery probably won't have an issue with it," Aiden breathed in and continued. "It also isn't fair for anyone to assume that one person will do all the work. There needs to be a sense of trust that everyone will do their part right? So if that is the case then we need to start acting like a team from the beginning."
He looked around the group and saw that he got their attention. "My suggestion is that we first introduce ourselves. I'm Aiden Ross." He looked over to Ayame who started the chain of introductions and it ended with the little Panda girl. "Great, now we have Lilith, Ayame, Allison, Melody and myself. It's good to know each other in case someone gets in a bind on the project." He didn't know if he was doing well and he had never really spoken out like this, but he was beginning to like it.
"The next thing we need to do is see who will do what. There is enough of us here to where the workload of each person won't be unequal. By reading the syllabus I can see that this is more than just a report..." Aiden held up the project paper and reread a portion.
"I can already see we are going to have to use the computer lab. It seems that we have to develop a lesson plan and teach it to the class. Our group gets 40 minutes. So it looks like it will take a couple of days for the projects to get done anyway. Everyone gets something different to teach and it looks like ours will be teaching about Ancient Egypt. It looks to be pretty broad in spectrum, so we have the freedom to do a lot," Aiden looked up and saw that they were just staring at him. Did he have something on his face?
Marina looked at her panda then to Aiden "Mr. Aiden..." she was really trying not to be shy but she looked away looking back at her panda this was hard for her "Panda thinks we should desied as a group what we would teach about Ancient Egypt, then focus on who is ganna do what equally."
She looked back up to Aiden a little unsure if that it was okay with what she was saying "We also should have a meet spot to cheek up on each others progress too."

Lilith heard what Aiden said. She couldn't help, but to agree with him. She also heard Melody suggesting that they, as a group, should decide on what part of Ancient Egypt they would agree to do.
She thought, "Melody is so cute."
She then decided to speak up about the project.
"I agree with both Aiden and Melody. We should have our own part to do for this project. Having a meeting spot to check on each others progress is a good idea."
The students of her group were staring at her. They had an expression on their faces that... 'She could talk!'
Lilith inwardly chuckled at that.
"Anyways, there are a lot of subjects we could do regarding Ancient Egypt. There are it's history, language, art, architecture, religion, and so on. What I could tell by our syllabus is that our report also needs visual aids."
Alison gave a slight nod in agreement with Aiden, registering the comments that followed while she looked over the syllabus she'd highlighted already. She picked up another highlighter, a different color and made some changes to what she'd done already.
“My strengths lay in research and writing. I suggest that someone else take the oral presentation part, as I am not the best choice for that part. For subject matter, I would rather stay away from the Pharaohs and their subsequent burials grounds as well as any subject matter that would call into question their belief system.”
She pulled her schedule out for the semester, reviewing her hand written notes at the bottom. She picked up her pencil and then looked back up, “I would suggest either the café or the foyer as meeting places as they would best accommodate Ayame-san’s potential work schedule at the café. With Aiden, Melody and Lilith being new, there shouldn’t be any club activities to interfere with this set up for now. I have engagements that can be moved as necessary to accommodate as well.”
Alison waited for some sort of response, cutting herself off before she could actually pose a question. She certainly didn’t want to start this project off with her group possibly discovering one of the biggest negative parts of her gift. She just hoped her body language was enough to indicate the unasked question.
"Panda and I can do art or the language ether is fine with me, but I don't think panda and I should do the oral presentation part, I may be good with words but standing in front of the inter class is scary.." she looked around then looked to Aiden.
"I can definitely do the oral presentation. Speaking is something that comes naturally to me. Also while it would have been brilliantly ironic if I were to give a forty minute presentation in part on how they worshiped cats.... I don't suppose doing another subject would do any harm. Though I do wonder what causes your aversion to their religious beliefs."
A small grin danced across her face, maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all. "I also think the cafe would be a great spot to meet, because it has wifi, like most of campus, and if I'm working then free drinks for everyone. What better way to work on a project than with an endless supply of caffeine?" Her mouth fell into a small 'o' before her hand moved up to cover it. Too late of course, the question was already out, and even after she had done so well avoiding her first question too...
Alison visibly tensed as the question was asked rhetorically. Her mind raced frantically trying to form a truthful response that would appease the compulsion. No swift answers to it were coming, it was hard to think when the pain from her refusal was pushing down on her and only getting worse. Outwardly, Alison’s highlighter snapped in half from her clenching of it. Lines of increasing pain etched her face, her eyes now tearing up flicked back and forth as if searching for something, some answer that no one else could see.
Several long moments passed, her tears turning first pink than red as she fought back the answer. Blood began to trickle from the left side of her mouth and then the right before she lowered her head and coughed, her blood splattering onto the papers and desk in front of her.
“Many, many things,” she coughed out, only easing up the assault on her person from the compulsion. She tried to stand, but only fell to the ground. “Mr. Montgomery…”
She curled up there, pooling in her own blood trying desperately not to yield to her compulsion before Mr. Montgomery could get the question retracted. Her body shook and convulsed in pain, her eyes closing to shut out the rest of the world hoping for the torment to end soon. The saying the truth hurts, was not kidding but at least it was only her going through it.

Marina got up taking quick action "Mr. Vampire!!" she yelled then when he looked over she pointed to Alison, then she went over to Alison her self and carefully put her hand on Alisons head to see what was going on with her.
"Professor!" Aya jumped up, quickly clearing a space around Alison, "Professor, quickly!" 'Is this because I asked about caffeine? It can't be, but what other question did I ask?' she wondered as she frantically scrambled for something to do to help.
She dropped to her knees besides the girl, "I'm sorry, so so sorry. I don't know what to do."
Marina slightly glanced up at Ayame then back to Alison "Miss. Ayame stop panicking, its not going to help one bit." she was still trying to figure out what was wrong with Alison. "If you want to help remain calm, I'm trying to figure out whats wrong so we can help her faster, and yes I can do that without hurting Miss. Alison, if you want get something to clean up the blood so it doesn't stain the floor."
For her being so young it was strange for her to be calm and not be freaking out like she should be, but if she could help she would despite anything.

Kross heard a panic in the back of the room and he immediately smelled the blood wafting through the room. He quickly got to the back and saw his student Alison continuously cough up the red liquid. Melody was crouched beside Alison, obviously trying to help. "Step aside Melody," he ordered out as he gently moved the girl out of the way. He picked Alison up and said, "We're going to the infirmary. Class dismissed." He hurried out of the classroom with Alison in his arms. She was getting blood all over his jacket, and it smelled delicious. It has been a long time since he had fresh human blood. He could feel himself almost salivating. Kross snapped out of it as he rounded a corner. There was a crowd in the hallway and he yelled out, "Move it! Get out of the way!" Immediately a hole was made and he finally got to the infirmary. He laid her down on the cot and the doctor was there right away to help him.

ruuruu-chan: Perhaps starting an RP again and get the clan back together. We won't finish Windsong because it has been too long now, but since we learned from out past mistakes, we can make a better rp this time.

ladynefertari: Sorry, I haven't been on here for a very long time. Mourning for Windsong. But I think I could start anew, with a new OC and everything.
Nov 4, 2014 19:13:19 GMT -5
Faemyre: I will have to take time to consider whether or not I have time for participating in another RP. I know for certain that I do not have time to participate anywhere close to the level I did with Windsong.
Nov 5, 2014 9:48:03 GMT -5
ladynefertari: I think you and everyone involved had stretch out ourselves w/ Windsong. Of course, that's only mine opinion.
Nov 5, 2014 23:19:15 GMT -5
Faemyre: After careful consideration of my available time and stress factors, I will be unable to participate in another RP.
